Configuring Gateway Single Sign On

A Gateway can Single Sign On (SSO) users to any remote Verj.io Application. A list of target applications can be configured in the Gateway Configuration section of the Gateway's Server Admin App.

To configure a Service Plan for Gateway SSO, open the Service Plan's Server Admin App and check the Use Gateway Server option in the User Authentication section.

In the Gateway Connection section of the Service Plan's Server Admin App you can optionally configure a whitelist of allowed IP addresses for a Gateway.

Steps

1

These steps follow on from Configuring a Gateway Connection on a Service Plan.

For illustrative purposes these steps establish a connection from the Embedded Server to itself.

Open the Embedded Server's Admin App and go to the Gateway Configuration section.

Add a new application in the Single Sign On section using the icon. Enter the following details:

Name: myRemoteApp
Description: Connect to the local embedded server for development.
Base URL: http://localhost:3050/ebasetest (Note: Your port may vary)

2

Go to the User Authentication section of the Server Admin App and check the Use Gateway Server option.

Also enable the Allow Non-Gateway Users option in that section.

Click Save.
