Workflow Custom Assignment can be used to make the task available to a resource or group or resources. Any of these resources can assign the task to themselves and open it.
Custom assignments pass an Assignment Key to a Workflow Assignment Service. The Assignment Key is a string parameter that is used by the assignment logic to determine the Roles and/or Credentials required to be assigned to the interactive task.
For example, when a holiday request is completed, the approval task would appear on the Task list for all members of the HR team. The first member to select and open the task becomes the assigned resource.
