Configuring a Gateway Connection on a Service Plan

A Gateway connection can be configured in the Gateway Connections section of the Server Admin App on a Service Plan (or On-Premises environment).

The API Key is used to establish a trust relationship between the Service Plan and the Gateway. The API Key can be found in the Gateway Configuration section in the Server Admin App on the Gateway.

Steps

For illustrative purposes these steps establish a trust relationship between the Embedded Server and itself.

Go to the Gateway Configuration section of the Embedded Server's Admin App and copy its API Key.

You can find the Server Admin App in two places in the Studio:

  1. Click  and select Start Server Admin App or
  2. Under Tools in the menu bar

Go to the Gateway Connections section of the Server Admin App and add a new Gateway Connection using the icon.

Name the Gateway Connection: myGateway.

Paste in the API Key and click OK.
