Introduction to Public and Gateway REST Services

You can use the Verj.io Studio to publish REST Services.

There are two types of REST Service available:

• Public Callable by anyone.
• Gateway Callable only via secure Gateway connections.

Each of these consists of:

• A Base URI
• Fields , Tables  and Resources
• Shared Functions (found in properties)
• Documentation

You can create a Public REST Service or Gateway REST Service using File>New> REST Services.
